Come warm-up with our PS8 community over coffee, hot cider, and treats! Take part in many wonderful holiday activities including a coat, toy, and diaper drive for families in need, a bake sale to support PS8, winter crafts and games, and even a professional photographer to take last-minute holiday photos of children.
Volunteers needed to:
- set up
- lead crafts
- contribute to the bake sale
- break down
Holiday Portraits
Photographer Erin Sibler will be on hand to take holiday portraits of your children, $50/digital print. Sign up form coming soon! Photos of children only.

Anyone in the PS8 community
Who is receiving?
Boriken Neighborhood Health Center
Donations will go to residents of East Harlem that are in financial need, along with other underserved communities including the recent influx of migrant families.
What is needed?
Drop off the following during the Warm Up on Dec 9.
Toys
Seeking new, unwrapped toys for babies and children of all ages. Please no used toys.
Coats
Seeking new or gently used coats for babies, children, and adults in all sizes.
Diapers & Warm Baby Clothing
Many migrant families have arrived with babies. There is a need for baby diapers in all sizes. There is also a need for new or gently used baby clothing in all sizes for the winter months.
