PS8’s Annual Paddlewheeler Block Party was back for 2026 with rides, bounce house, arts & crafts, face painting, cotton candy, chess and table tennis tournaments, photo booth, and more!
All activities were available 12-4pm except for the dunk tank (1-3pm) and a DJ Marc Bars dance party (2-4pm). We had sprinklers on car-free Poplar!
Neighboring Poplar Street Garden hosted a peaceful Serenity Lab featuring the beauty of nature, gardening tips, coloring activities, puzzles, and calming music in a relaxing space with seating for all ages. They also offered a scavenger hunt at 1pm and 3pm.
