Thank you, furniture building and organizing pros! The garden work was rained out, but our amazing, hard-working volunteers tackled building 12 IKEA pieces and sorting and delivering supplies to classrooms.
Past Days of Service
We joined the Brooklyn Heights Association at PS8 on the 2025 Spring Day of Service to clean out and spruce up the nurse’s office, including painting and furniture assembly, and to organize classroom books and supplies.
In 2024, families helped us in PS8’s gardens! The first shift prepped for planting and the next planted flowers and herbs.
Meanwhile, volunteers from PS8 and BHA helped refresh PS8 for spring, building new furniture, sorting books, and organizing.
