Wellness Council

The Wellness Council is a subcommittee of the School Leadership Team (SLT) that supports the continued development of health and wellness education at PS8. The Wellness Council works to develop initiatives surrounding social-emotional, mental, and physical wellness. Some past initiatives have included Winter Wellness Week, starting a cafeteria share table to reduce waste and piloting 5th grade human growth and development lessons.
