Jackie Greiner has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and dual certification in childhood and special education from Marist College. She has a master’s degree in Literacy from Hunter College. Before coming to PS 8, Jackie worked as a substitute teacher at a charter school in the Bronx and as a teaching assistant at a private special education school and a public school — both on Long Island.
The amazing role models that she had as educators growing up fostered her love of learning and inspired Jackie to become a teacher. Her favorite part of teaching is the connections and relationships she forms with her students.
Outside of school, Jackie loves to read, go to the beach, and do Pilates. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
