Last Friday the 2nd grade classes journeyed to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens to inspect the gardens and take notes on how they had changed since their last visit this past fall.
Everyone enjoyed the warm weather and enjoyed the wide open expanses. Running, laughing, inspecting and loving their time outside, they took full advantage of the massive place.
After checking out the cherry blossoms, a rock garden, the desert greenhouse, the tropical rain forest, the Children’s Garden, and the Japanese tea garden, many of the kids made their way to hang with the famous turtles and giant koi. It was truly a special day.
