One day in 5th Grade, about a month and 3 weeks ago, Caitlin and Bo were sitting at lunch. Caitlin took the two pieces of tinfoil from their sandwiches and crumpled them together. Bo looked at the small ball like a 49-er looking at a pile of gold.
“Hey!” she said, “I have a great idea! What if we made a giant tinfoil ball?!” And that’s where the whole idea sprouted. They started collecting tinfoil from people’s lunches, and along with the help of Joseph and Hudson, the ball started to grow. Buuuuuut, we still need more tinfoil!
The largest tinfoil ball ever made was created by Richard Roman from Ohio. His ball weighed 1,615 pounds! So if you have any tinfoil, we need it!
And that’s the story of the TINFOIL BALL. Though the story isn’t over yet!
